Selfridges Christmas Press Launch... Beauty and Fashion Review

So, early November it was Selfridges Christmas Press Launch and what was previewed to be in store this year’s festive season was something so special and magnifique, Destination Christmas was definitely something to be excited about.

...Selfridges was all magical and gave out festive vibes that had everyone enchanted and feeling the Christmas spirit but was in full-effect when December had approached us.

  

On arrival we were greeted with a glass of friendly morning champagne (or orange juice) along with being welcomed by the Selfridges store manager and PR consultant.

We were then provided with a press pack and an introductory speech of what’s to come at Selfridges this Christmas 2014.

It was a short walk from station to station with a little reflection on the special touches each station will offer, and any exclusive services that will be available, followed by a live demonstration and occasional food tasting.

Destination Christmas channelled the entwining of a fairy-tale and glistening gold glitter theme, along with spotlighting a combination of beautifully, unique golden finds. It offered storytelling and the Selfridge’s significant bespoke, personalising services that were available throughout the store. These small but thoughtful things made Christmas that extra bit special and original this year, I hope you had a fantastically stylish and a personalised one too!

Storytelling was a significant part of Selfridge’s Destination Christmas this year where there were plenty of mystical turns and twists. Making this 2014’s festive period a little more uniquely special Selfridges probably had left you with your own unique enchanted story to tell.

Fashionistas, were you inspired to get glittery gold this season! This Christmas we had a lot of original, festive fashion to be cherished, metallics were the best way to rock it this season.
