Bright, Bold and Fabulous Mani Pedi: Bon Voyage!

So, summer is upon us and so are the holidays - let me introduce to some nail lacquers that are great and in poptastic, summer-inspired shades.

For that holiday period you want use a nail polish that lasts that time away and requires less touch ups - so I have recommended some brands that are some of my personal favourites that offer nail polishes that are durable, long lasting and have a range of fabulous shades.

 The brands I use regularly (to name a few) are Illamasqua, Essie, Chanel, Barry M, 

MAC, Butter, O.P.I and from experience - their nail colours have always been beautiful, long-lasting and sometimes only require one coat and that is all you need.

Calm or Loud & Electric...

Or go a little to the daring side with the electric blues and calming cobalts to the envious greens.

Sweet & Popsicle...

Candy, Sweet and Pop colours are tasteful, so rad and also a fail-safe too.

Classic Chic...

Beiges, Pinks or Whites in super-chic and stylish shades are a go-to when you want to keep it neutral or just keep it classic. They will always conquer.

Creamy & Dreamy...

Get all whimsical, dreamy and caught up in the pretty Creams and Pastels.

Nail polish is an important Fashion Accessory too - express your style or mood! It is all about the holiday vibes.

Why not finish your nails off with a subtle design on the index or ring fingernail or if you would prefer something a little different but noticeable - opt for a pretty crystal or two. Go exotic or glam.

Tip: Be different and apply nail art to only your thumbnails!

Holiday inspired Nail Art can be fun and add to the excitement of getting away but yet some of us still prefer the classic look that is a fail-safe. 

Don't forget to apply a base coat and top coat - they make a noticeable difference.

Save staining the nail by applying a base coat and top coat by locking that colour on and adding that glossy look, yet both strengthen the nail.

I recommend Rimmel London's Nail Nurse Rescue Base Coat at £4.49 available at Boots and Revlon's Quick Dry Top Coat Clear 960 at £6.49 available at Superdrug. 

 The Rimmel London's Nail Nurse Rescue is a nail treatment but can be used as a base coat too - of which I recommend for extra protection and for nails to be more chip resistant.
